With the forecast showing winds building in the afternoon I went down after lunch to see.There was one kiter out but the breeze fairly light so big gear was the order of the day.A beat up to the Fludgers and some reaches to Bawdsey,the beat was good right up on the rail and managed to get the board planing on the reaches.An okay hour not sure about speed and distance as the gps battery gave up after a couple of minutes !!!

Good luck to all the speedsailers heading to West Kirby tomorrow !!!!
